The screw lock is a standard screw-to-lock mechanism. The auto lock is a spring loaded 3-stage pull and twist-to-unlock mechanism. The manual lock is like the auto lock, but the mechanism stays unlocked when twisted open, and then must be manually manipulated to activate the spring loaded lock. It has the same function as the screw lock with much simpler operation, meaning that with a simple pull-twist action it will stay unlocked until you pull-release to let it spring back into locked position.
