The North Machine is made out of Aluminum and design to be a lightweight technical tool with the most ambitious alpinist in mind. The aluminum T rated shaft is designed for climbing north faces where ice and mixed terrain are found. The North Machine is delivered with either the Ice Plus blade or Cascade Plus blade, with a hammer or adz option. Or it can be purchased with the Ice blade or Cascade Plus without hammer or adze option.
