The Crux is a universal approach shoe that will take you from the car to the base of any climb. The super sticky Vibram® Vertical approach sole climbs effectively, and provides superior traction for managing alpine terrain, easy climbs, and descending loose terrain. The webbing ribcage reinforced with Kevlar secures the forefoot for technical climbing precision and superior edging control. Microporous EVA provides cushion for long hours in the hills while toe randing rounds out the protective qualities. Suede uppers mold to the foot for a comfy fit all day long. A women’s specific model caters to female anatomical differences in foot shape and volume.
