Complementing the versions that already exist, the Am'd and William in Lock, Spinball and Ball Lock versions, this Tri-act version of the Am'd and William carabiners gives automatic locking with greater security, while still remaining simple to manipulate, especially with gloves.The Tri-act system reduces the risk of accidental unlocking as 3 successive actions are required to open the carabiner (push the sleeve upward - turn - open the gate).Initially designed for industrial applications, this locking system, which is easily manipulated with one hand, is also highly appreciated by rescue teams and by climbers.
