The polycarbonate shell and impact-absorbing closed cell foam liner is long lasting, lightweight, and doesn't feel like a milk bucket after 17hrs on route. Highly aerated with ten vents, a single wheel-ratchet at the back allows for easy adjustment along with a quick tab buckle chinstrap. Four headlamp clips help keep your mountain perspective when your watch runs on to 28hrs after a descending miscue. Whether climbing rock, ice, or mixed alpine terrain the Elios is the quintessential noggin protector.
