Balancing the traditional, protective trail-running shoe with a profile that has slightly less drop, the SCARPA Ignite is very flexible and lightweight (10.2 ounces per shoe, size 42), yet still offers serious trail protection. Ideal for tackling longer-distances, the Ignite pairs a 18mm heel with 10mm forefoot. Injected EVA midsoles mean longer life and a more dynamic feel through the stride. A thin high-density EVA trail plate offers added protection in the forefoot. The Speed Track outsole uses an aggressive tread pattern with 4.5mm-deep lugs for traction and angular lugs on the back to assist with braking, along with an exclusive rubber compound that offers better traction and durability. Air mesh uppers are balanced with a webbing exoskeleton for support and responsiveness.
